It's not exactly Arkansas caching, but I sure hope some of my Arkansas friends will come! GCXAZA http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_de ... c50ef2263f (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=26cff216-01c2-45c8-84d9-e8c50ef2263f)
a weekend on the lake, good friends, 20 or so boat-access caches by pontoon boat and good food!
Hope to see you,

Ed,
I would love to make it! But I'll just have to see if I can work it out. My daughter goes to college in Boone, NC (about 40 miles east of Johnson City, TN)) and we pass near the Morristown area a few times a year. Maybe I can make a special trip to see her and get in this event!
I would like to ask a favor, though. I have a TB that has been stuck for a couple of months in a cache near this event site, the "Morristown Travel Bug/Geo Coin Rest Stop" (GCKDKQ). http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_de ... ebcac5c9d1 (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=ed3e937f-e83c-407e-9b4b-7cebcac5c9d1)
My TB is the "Forked Mtn. Gnome" (TBHVAE). http://www.geocaching.com/track/details ... ce71779cf6 (http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=3f625f5f-5ce0-406b-897f-b7ce71779cf6)
If you or one of your friends going to the event could retrieve my gnome and move him along, I would greatly appreciate it!
Have a great time and maybe I will actually be able to come!

Ed,
Scratch my previous request. The Gnome has been picked up and hopefully will be placed in a new cache soon.

I know it's a bit of a trip, but come join us for a memorable Labor Day!
Looks like we'll have three pontoon boats, 12 people per boat, each starting an hour apart Saturday morning.
We'll try for 20 boat-accessible caches, picnic on an island, and everyone back to the marina for dinner at 7.
We'll do a one boat short cruise 8-noon Sunday.
If you haven't cached on water skis or a knee-board you are missing out!
I'll have my two jet-skis there - they add a whole new dimension to getting to the cache! If you really want an exciting cache hunt take my 4-man Bombardier - it will run 85 mph on slightly choppy water! You may be hunting the cache with bugs in your teeth and shaky knees, but you'll never forget doing that cache!
