I know of the Clarksville Spadra Trail and the Texarkana Nix Creek Trail. Both of these have great caches along them.
Is there a listing of such trails with caches some where ?
Yeh, our Jeep has a bicycle rack on the back.
Not those multi speed terrain ripin' flame snorters, but full fendered ol' folks beach cruisers.
Any input appreciated.

Great question. I've been wondering about this, too. In fact, just last weekend, I got the old mountain bike out of the shed and got it back in working order. Plan to try to do more cycling soon.
Don't know if this is exactly what you had in mind, but there is a paved bike trail in Conway. It's only about 1.5 miles right now, but I've heard that there are plans to lengthen it and add more trails in the near future. So far, only one cache on it, though...
Does anyone know how long Spadra trail is?

I used google earth to find the dogwood springs trail in siloam springs. It has a couple of caches on it.
The Nix creek trail in texarkana is 2 1/2 miles long.

We have seen lots of bikes on the trail, but to answer your question I'm not sure. I will check.

Mountainborn, Searcy has a 4.8 mile paved bike/walking trail that extends from the Southeast part of the city to the Northwest part. It currently has 3 caches along the trail and a 4th cache about 200 feet off the trail in a park that the trail passes through. I have been reluctant to place more caches along the trail because they would be long walks from parking areas. However, I would be more than happy to place several more if there is an interest in doing them on a bike.

I brought Searcy up on Google Earth, but can't identify the trail, could you list some cache #'s, or names please ?
I am using Google Earth with the KLM patch applied to it that shows the caches imposed on it.
I also looked in Searcy recreation listings without results.

A cache near the Southeast end of the trail is GCK2KA. Going north from there is GCK2KW, GCJKKA(the one in the park), and then GCRPX3 is about 2/3 of the way through. There is also another cache, GCKHDK, that is only about 1/4 mile from the starting point. Hope this helps.

I recommend the Bona Dea Trail System in Russellville. It's open to walkers, runners, and bicyclists. I'm not sure what the trail surface is, but it's not asphalt and still perfect for bikes. The longest trail is 3.5 miles, but there are several variations that offer shorter distances. There are also several caches located here. I personally have 11 hidden along the trails or near the access points. For a couple, check out "Black Water Swamp" (GCKN87) and "Bullfrog Lullaby" (GCJ8GF). So bring your bike and GPSr and check it out! -- ORR

Cool. in four days we have a list of seven trails that are bicycle friendly and most have a cache or two on them. Some have quite a few caches on them.

This is great, lets fill in the unknown information and add to the list !
We may have something going on here.
Often times there are not enough cachers to stage vehicles at each end of a trail system. This makes it possible for a cacher to park along the way and travel by bicycle each direction without a lot of logistical support.
I notice no one had mentioned the Burns Park trail system. Any one know anything about it ?

Here's some more information about the bike trail in Conway:
Tucker Creek Walking / Bike Trail sits on 30 acres which lies between Salem Road and Reedy Road in West Conway. This trail is 1.2 miles long and runs east and west along Tucker Creek. It is paved and lighted and has benches along the way. Off of the Salem Road entrance there is a large parking area and one large pavilion. There are trail access points with parking at Bainbridge Park and the north side of the new Walmart at Hogan Lane. Web page here (http://www.cityofconway.org/departments/parks/individual_parks/tuckercreek.html).
(Currently) only one cache along this trail: "Cycle Through Your Options" - GCGBEK

Note on the 'Spadra Creek Trail': Only half of the trail (ie one side) is paved. The other side has a steep stair to climb at one end (by the bridge).
Also there are a few trails (unpaved) within Burn's Park' thet allow Bicycles. The trails might be rough on a
full fendered ol' folks beach cruisers, but a good mountian bike should be okay.
The River Trail (Which passes through Burns Park) is a nice paved trail I forget the exact length, but there are plans to connect both sides of the river with a pedestrian bridge.

The Bona Dea Trail in Russellville is paved but a lot of it is cemented pea gravel instead of asphalt.

Hope this will help fill in the blanks for the Searcy bike trail. As far as I know, it's just called the Searcy Bike Trail.

This probably needs to be reorganised by city.
If it should grow large enough to warrant it I will build a web page.

Why the blank on this one? It looks like you have everything, when compared with the others with no blanks. However, if something's missing, let me know what other information you need and I will provide it. (Thanks for putting this together, by the way!) -- ORR

I know this is an older post but I have done some caches in the Fayetteville area and they have several nice biking/walking trails with several caches along them. I will be re-locating to this area very soon and can give more details if needed.

I was going back over some of my previous finds and noticed that there is a park in north Bentonville that is paved and only conatins one cache right now but could hold several more. I will get some more info on that one as well.

More info on Ben Geren: The paved trail starts from the parking lot headed generally east eventually topping a large hill and continues another couple of miles.
Ben Geren Park is on hwy 255 between Ft. Smith and Barling. Enter the park and follow the park roads counter-clockwise until passing an old BMX track. Turn left at this road and follow it until you see a parking lot and the paved trail on your left. Total trails (paved + non-paved): 7 miles.
