Well, what can I say? Life kinda got in the way and I stopped geocaching for a long time. I'm just wondering if there's been much change or updates in the geocaching world. I've noticed that the Geocaching app for Android has changed quite a bit. A premium membership is required to view most geocaches now. Any other changes or updates I should know about before getting back into geocaching? Any info is appreciated!!

Finding caches is not much different, but if you like to hide caches it is a whole new world. Looking forward to meeting you on the caching trail! 😀

Thanks for the info! I've never gotten into placing caches so that's no issue for me.

That's too bad. Because unless we all take the initiative to hide geocaches, there would be none for us to find. :sad:

Great to see you back! That is the nice thing about our hobby, you can come and go as life and interest allows. The game is basically the same but you'll also notice that there have been some enhansements with things such as badges (souvenirs) and various types of events. Depending on how long it has been - some very cache types have been dropped or moved to their own area (virtuals move to http://www.waymarking.com/ ) and we have the earth cache (http://www.earthcache.org/ )
