ArkGeo Board Meeting - Friday, April 8th, 2011


The next Arkansas Geocachers Association Board of Directors Meeting is scheduled for Friday, April 8th, 2011. This meeting will start at 6:00 PM and will be held at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. All are welcome to attend. If you wish to address the Board at this meeting, we ask that you contact a Board member at least three days prior to the meeting to request a place on the agenda.

The Board meeting will be in the Burdick Hall building, room 218. Coordinates for the building entrance are N35 04.848 W092 27.350.

Anyone wanting to call in and listen to the meeting can do so by calling: 218 862-1300 and enter conference #: 244571.

Any chance of streaming video or audio using "ustream" to not have to worry about the "long distance telephone call"? It's Free, just takes someone with a laptop and webcam and it don't use anything from arkgeocaching.org hosting or site. Just post a link here to when the video will start!

Just out of curiosity, where is the agenda for Friday's meeting? The agenda used to be posted ahead of time. It should continue to be, so the general membership will know what will be discussed at the meeting, to help in their decision to attend or call in.

Also, where can I find a copy of the Standing Rules? I thought they used to be under the Documents section, but they are not there. They should be available for viewing by the general membership.

II. Email from member requesting an Amendment to The Bylaws to restrict two members of the same family from serving on the Board at the same time.
III. Monthly contest ending and future ideas for membership participation.
IV. Addition of another website administrator to help with duties of maintaining the website as well as serving as back up in case of Admin’s absence.
V. Possibility of producing another ArkGeo Geocoin.
VI. Getting caches approved in National Parks(Buffalo River and Hot Springs) in Arkansas.
VII. Addition of Regional Forums for the website. - Richard
VIII. Creation of “Ask Your Reviewer” forum where our reviewer can post answers to some of the questions that he receives for everyone’s reference.
IX. Next Board meeting is July 8th, 2011 in Conway?
