High Fire Danger

Arkiepapa (A Fire Captain) wanted me to mention that the fire danger is VERY high right now. The combination of the downed trees from the 2009 ice storm and the recent extremely hot dry weather has set us up for a fire season that will rival that of California. Northwest Arkansas may experience the worst fire season on record. Our fire department has already been out on a couple of grass and brush fires.
If you are a smoker or if you are doing any camping and have a camp fire please be very careful. Let's keep our forests beautiful for all future geocachers! :D

I will agree about the fire danger. We responded to two fires this afternoon as a truck had a chain dragging and causing sparks.
