As announced at the ArkGeo 2008 Social, two new Board members have been elected and will take office on July 1st, 2008. Thank you for such a good voter turnout for these elections and for supporting your organization. The new Board members for 2008-2009 are:

Thanks to everyone who voted. It sounds like there was a better voter turnout percentage wise for the board elections than there was for our local elections.
Thanks to everyone who voted for me and have confidence in me. I look forward to working with the others on the board and I am exicted about the future of geocaching in the Natural State.

Thank you from me too! I'll try to represent the membership as I would want to be represented. I can't know how to do that without feedback though so participate in discussions and voice your opinions.
I think it would be prudent to post the election results for the members to see.

David Spicer (paris1time) received 60 votes (82%)
Mike Pinkston (Team_Pink) received 56 votes (77%)
Bryan Jackson (jacksonb) received 18 votes (25%)
Mike Bailey (tnt) received 11 votes (15%)
* Percentages do not total 100% because voters could choose two candidates.
