This 2nd Time in Paris... Geocaching Event January 12, 2008

My wife (ddkds) and I will be hosting a Geocaching Event on Saturday, January 12th, 2008.

The event is listed on the GC.com web site and in the news section of the Arkansas Geocachers Association web site also.

This thread is primarily to discuss the upcoming event and for me to list what those attending have told me they will bring for the pot luck.

Here is what I know for sure is being brought for the pot luck to date (1/2/2008):

Hot Dogs, Hot Dog Buns, Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo, relish, tea, coffee and ice: paris1time and ddkds

Baked Beans: cfd29

Meatballs x2 : the CLB

Potato salad and ham: rklmbl

Salad of some type: BSA534

Sausage balls, and maybe a cheesecake: AR-HICK

Veggie tray with dip and brownies: Flannelman

Lil' Smokies, Four Layer Delight (dessert), and pinwheels: OENavigators

We will probably bring the old standby baked beans, and will bring 3 geocoins to give away as prizes, hope the weather cooperates, sounds like a great day.. See you there

I'll be there but I'm not sure if I can talk anyone into going with me. I'm bringing a hashbrown casserole like they have at The Cracker Barrel. See you all on Saturday.

I was going to bring a Christmas Fruit Cake, but I loaned it to a neighbor to prop up his car 'cause his jack broke! :lol:

So I will bring something else non-edible :twisted:

Thanks so much for hosting this great event. It was only our 2nd to attend and we can't wait to go to more. We really enjoyed the location, it was perfect for the event and we had a great time hunting the event caches, eating some great food and had fun watching the auction and bringing home some great swag. Already looking forward to next year already!
