Do any of you oldtimers remember watching "Bonanza"? It was on TV for several years. The Ponderosa, Where the Cartright's lived.

On that show you will remember 'HOSS" played by Dan Blocker. While looking at caches one day I found this cache GCZBQ1 and put it on my watchlist.

This one is on my to-do list. I just thought it was kind of odd that Hoss was buried here. A at one time big movie star buried in an out of the way small town cemetery.

Ok I dont feel any smarter for knowing this but he was born in Dekalb Texas which is only about 30 miles past the state line. Not to far for a family even then to travel and grow!! Met his brother Dirk when I was a kid... they had Blocker day way back then, wonder if they still do?
