    new posts?

    Why does it say that there are 4 new posts since my last log in yet when I click it says there are no items to view? Not really a problem but just strange.

    Because there are forums that you can't see, and the module that gives you that number is coded to not check for permissions, because on a large board it would cause performance issues.
