The article says, "Arkansas and Pennsylvania, meanwhile, list geocaching suggestions on their Web sites along with rules for proper land use."

Are they talking about the Geocacher's Creed? That's the only place I know of (besides the forums, of course) where we have any kind of "rules for proper land use" posted...

At any rate, I'm glad to see Arkansas geocaching portrayed in a good light, even if it was in a negative article...
I get my directions from above.

One reason that they are police in the first place is that they are territorial and protective in personality. And that is not a bad thing. This drive to serve the public is a part of that high drive persona.
Recognising this is the reason that I have made it a point to introduce local Officials to geocaching. Several are registered on geocaching.com and are actively caching. If you search zip code 71953 ( Mena ), for a cache listing you will see some of their finds localy.
We all neet to be aware of emerging Homeland security concerns when placing caches.
Geocachings is a great outdoor activity, lets not let the ill informed, negativity types take it away from us.
Lets all try to find ways to let public officials know about the sport and all of it's positive aspects.
Thanks for posting the article stickerdude.
