    Google Earth

Has anyone download the free software from http://www.googleearth.com and played it it? This is so very cool. If you haven't, you might find it interesting. I can't stop playing with it, but I'm tech geek.

Yes Butcherknife and I just love it, especialy with the KLM software patch from geocaching.com. It is available to premium members for free. We are using the google earth for planning of a lighthouse trip in May. Here is a screen shot of the Charleston, SC , area where we will be. The KLM lets you check the cache info right from the mapping program with one click !

The letterbox hybrid cache on Folly Beach is one I have been to many years ago, before it was ever a cache.

Here is a photo of one of the cache sites, one of the worlds oldest and tallest lighthouses:

It is listed as a 1/2 mile hike, but I have driven it in the past, at low tide.

    Google Earth is quite neat...

I got my friend hooked on it. He cant stop using it. I look forward to upgrading to Plus so I can interface my GPS with it.
