Got the notification in the email today. Has any one got it figured out yet ?
    Gona' try it ?
Is there a rule that a cache site cannot be a Waymark site also ? Will they have to have the 500 plus feet spacing that caches have to have ?
Could you put them on your PDA and GPS togather ?
    Many questions ?
    Answers ? Any one ?

    Not completely. It's still evolving

There is no space requirement for separating a geocache, waymark, benchmark or earthcache. They could all occupy the same space, theoretically.

While cruising thru the forums to learn more about waymarking, I found this post:
And as an aside ... as I wrote in a note at the first McDonald's waymark - it is somewhat sad that WM1 - the FIRST OFFICIAL waymark is a *&^%#$ McDonald's
    >
The first waymark, as a test was a McDonalds and some took exception, naturaly.
Even though it has marble floors, marble columns and a baby grand piano.
It looks as if the early days of waymarking will be filled with growing pains.

Congratulations to Thenaturenurd for establishing a waymark for Devil's Den State Park in the CCC category. Now available to premium members, it should be available to everyone within 30 days.

I noticed that Geezer Veazey now has 3 waymarks at Petit Jean in the CCC category. We will log them next time we are there.

    Got a favorite fishin' hole?

Share it, and learn about places you might like to fish when traveling, in my Fishing Holes category! I will be visiting Arkansas more frequently and would love to know where I might catch something interesting!

NF, these are listed in the "swimming hole" category, however like most swimming holes in our part of the world, they will contain some very elusive Brown Bass. These "brownies" are prized by locals.
