    Milestone Cache-Owners!

I was thinking about GC stats recently, hides not finds. And I wanted to compile a list, of the top cache-hiders in AR. To give an extra shout out to all those who give so much back to the game we all love. Anyone who is on the list has at least 100+ non-event caches on their profile. I could have simply ranked everyone by sheer volume, but I thought why not figure out who's got the best cache-maintenance scores. The % of placed caches that are still active & not archived.

Now I don't want anyone thinking a lower score means you're a worse CO. Caches get archived for all kinds of reasons, from muggles to bulldozers. And the more caches you own, odds are the more susceptible you are to these things. You'll notice there are more CO's with 90+ scores in the 100-200 hides range then in the 200+.

That's why I just want to give a little extra shout out to my friends L2C & QC! To have 250+ caches & have a score above 90% is a testament to how much time & effort ya'll must spend keeping up with maint & your abilities to pick GZ's that endure the test of time. I haven't quite made the list yet, but I hope to live up to the standard you guys set.

    Cachers with over 200 hides:

    97% 336/348 likestocanoe
    93% 240/256 QuartzCachers
    89% 233/261 edieo
    84% 256/303 rklmbl
    83% 265/320 arkfiremedic
    82% 275/335 woodwalker9
    77% 163/211 hot~rod
    66% 157/239 AR-HICK

    Cachers with 100-200 hides:

    98% 182/186 Rhone
    96% 164/170 backpacknjack
    96% 135/140 Jffok
    96% 160/166 allenearl58
    94% 146/155 captaincooder
    91% 108/119 AstroDav
    83% 100/120 pshelto
    79% 92/116 angel06
    62% 79/126 Saddlebags
    60% 61/102 BSA534
    50% 51/102 CacheNaFlash

Even if you're not on the list yet, thanks to ALLL the CO's out there who place caches. We couldn't play this game without you! Also I figure if we have a milestone "cache-finder" thread, why not have a milestone "cache-hider" one too. We can give shout outs to CO's when they hit 100, 150, 200, 250 etc.

Well thanks!! I too enjoy hiding; I see a spot, pull over and place the cache. I will be honest that I don't put in a lot of effort on my caches, but I do try to find neat places to put them so that people see something new (even if the cache is all broken, missing, etc).

p.s. How about special notes for cachers with caches in multiple states?

I have an earthcache in Kentucky, and I adopted two of them in Utah, I have one on the AR/OK border, and I think that's all my multi state caches.

Wow, Likestocanoe, that is awesome that you now have more than 400 hides. You guys are amazing. Thanks for all your hard work in planning, placing, financing, and maintaining all these caches for everyone to hunt. You are truly inspirational.

Thanks for the recognition, CF55. I've got at least thirty more on my list of caches hidden and not published, caches in progress, etc. I just love hiding them as much as finding them. I tell you, it's a full time job maintaining all these caches.

And don't forget Semipaw, who has 195 active hides and 27 archived ones for a total of 222 since he started playing! Thanks for keeping the north central part of the state stocked!

I worry about my 13 Caches to much, I think I would go crazy with 2 or 3 hundred. Wow you guys are awesome. And 400? Thats insane. Thanks you guys!
