After logging caches, I stand corrected. It was only 18 caches DNFd with 71 found with four people searching. Oh well, there is always next time.Originally Posted by likestocanoe
Justin, I usualy have around a ten percent DNF rate on days when I have found over a hundred. As those numbers go higher, 150-200, that number holds even more close to true.
I realize that you figure there is over twice that, but my point is that it is not unreasonable to expect a larger number of DNF's. BPNJ caches are usualy more dificult to find, as he really goes to the extreme on his camo sometimes. I pretty much expected that these would be more difficult than an average PT, and what you are reporting would support that theory.
Sounds like it will need to be more than a one day attack on these.
Guess what?! I got a fever, and the only prescription...is more cowbell!!
I'm sure you are right. There was some GOOD cammo on the ones we found, and I'm sure better cammo on the ones we didn't. Someday I will have to make a return trip to the area. It will probably be a little while cause peddling 24 miles wore me out!Originally Posted by QuartzCachers
Wow those are some great numbers!!! Thanks Chuck for the time givin to publish them all
Chuck approved 512 in just that one month period?! Amazing dedication!!
Which got me thinking... So many people are into tracking various statistics within Geocaching, one just occured to me that I'd be interested in knowing:
How many TOTAL "approves" has Chuck Walla had??? I feel pretty confident that it'd be even higher than rklmbl's total number of finds!
