Presidents Report: Was given by Pat Vaughn,



The ArkGeo Board has been very active since the last meeting in July, serving as liaisons to the standing committees and hosting 3 Eat-N-Greet Events at different locations across the state with one more scheduled on 10/17/09 in Stuttgart.

We have been approached by the Arkansas game and Fish Commission regarding a new "adoption" policy and look forward to working with them in an effort to bring geocaching into WMA's of Arkansas.


We continue to receive more and more request to present geocaching to different youth and civic groups and also have been contacted reguarding investigating the possibility of bringing Geowoodstock to Arkansas.


Treasurer's Report: Was given by the Treasurer, Beth Daniel. Current bank balance is $1,114.80. The sale of merchandise from the Searcy Event has not been added to this as of the Board meeting.



Website managers: Report was not given.



Election Committee: No activity this quarter.



Fund Raising Committee: Report, No activity this quarter.

Community Relations: Report was given by Chair, David Spicer.

Pending board approval the community Relations Committee has been asked to prepare a presentation and to staff a booth at an annual event sponsored by the Pulaski Area Geographic Information System.


The event is scheduled for November 18th, 2009 at Verizon Arena in North Little Rock. If participation is approved by the board the representatives for ArkGeo antipate staffing a booth and conducting a presentation for attendees.
