    GEOCACHING ADVENTURE

Well I thought I would try and show and tell a little about TIGGR'S AND MY Latest GEOCACACHING/BENCHMARK Adventure.
One of the main Benchmarks I went to get remains ungotten, but not forgotten.
This is how the Morning started.

But by late afternoon and the Festival it was too hot and it was just too much for me that day.
This Day began Beautifuly as seen, then on to the Hillsboro,NM, Apple Festival,a reunion we get to once in a blue moon now but frequented every year while in our youth. The other reason was that TIGGR's Mom had recently passed and one of her wishes was to be back in New Mexico,I will Leave it to your imagination from there but we had released ballons and notes in key points and sprinkled a little ash.

On top of this Mountian(says HILL)but as you can see by the photo's it is a BIG HILL.
From a Picture point at Emory Pass.

On the Continental Divide we divided some ash. Some to the East and
    Some to the West.

Our Goal was to get some photo's for the benchmark photo contest as well..
I will have to end the story here for now since,

THIS is my main reason for going down
    The Big Hatchet Benchmark.
Met a Local Border Patrolman here while stopped taking photo,as you can imagine along the border that close with a GPS I attracted Alot of attention,I talked to him for quitw a while and he said he was going to place a 5-5 cache atop the mountian, along side the Benchmark.

    I KNOW!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

But I get new Geocachers that way too.
loco_51 is one of the newest members of Geocaching.
Having the Border Patrol on our side there is a GOOD thing.
I am planning an event with them(Border Patrol) in late Febuary or Early March.
We are going for the benchmark atop the Big Hatchet Mountian.
He is good friends with the Helicopter Pilot there.
Maybe we could get a free ride to the top!!!!!
    and hike back down.
    Plans are in the works.

Now onto the rest of the story.
The Eagle greeted me the Morning of this day,as did the rain storm,it was a beatiful morning.

As always I was doing other things and could not get to the North Sister Benchmark this time.CE0725.

We got 83 benchmarks for the trip this time and it averaged 28 a day. This is our personal best and best finds so far.
    more to come.
