    ONE LITTLE THING AFTER ANOTHER . . . . . .

    All of the caches located at the summits of the passes were covered with feet of snow !
    We missed by one exit the campground that sjclimber had told us about.
    Had cell phone problems and never could reach sjclimber, though we were on the other side of the mountain from him.
    A forest fire came really near us in Estancia, NM.
    And just on and on. It was a great trip to Ouray, Silverton and Durango, Colorado. We just had to work at it a bit more than expected.

    Well, I'm glad you made it to the mountains, but did wonder how things were going. Cells don't work well here and frequently between Albequerque and Durango. Guess those big companies don't feel the native Americans (or travelers) need to communicate with others. Hope you had the opportunity to get a few of Jake92's caches and see the local color in Silverton and Ouray. Onward-SJC
