I was told it would be open yesterday when I called to double check on tuesday. I would highly recommend calling ahead until it gets open.
I do want to thank you for making a cache that has driven me for a long, long timie to finish. Sort of hard to do from Fort Smith, but I'm 3/4s of the way there.
I had emailed groundspeak to notify them of this back on Wednesday, and they asked if I was at the museum so they could confirm everything. I said no and pointed them to Bonnie Craig. I'm stunned it...
I emailed Bonnie Craig, director of the UA Discovery Zone and she told me that barring anything unforeseen, the GPS adventures will open on Dec. 20th.
Looking futher at the webpage, they've...
flyfishingcachers, I can probably answer the questions about the 'F' logs.
On the iphone app (and i assume android and Windows7 versions as well) you are no longer allowed to write a field note...
I'd love to go. No idea when I'd have the time to go.
Here's a link to their webpage.

I was in class, but we did a mini moment of silence for Armistice Moment, followed by a woohoo, yay 11's...and then we went on with the math lesson.
Version 4.2.2 (the last version that runs on any version of iOS 3.x.x) was disabled because they quit supporting that version of the API in the last update.
TnT got channel 5 (kfsm) to do an article recently as well. Don't have the link handy. Will link when i can find it.
good grief. so many 5K's all at once. Congrats!
A fizzy challenge is exactly what you created, a challenge to fill in your entire D/T grid, and some add in other things like so many types of caches, or do mini versions (All terrains at Difficulty...
Well, there's a fizzy challenge placed in Oklahoma...who wants to put the one up for Arkansas? I'm actually surprised this challenge hadn't been placed anywhere in either state before now.
then...I'm getting more content with them.
hope so. I know one fix is that you won't have your list of open challenges still full of challenges that got nuked that first day (like mine is) beyond that, I haven't seen the full list of fixes...
man, all these 5k's hitting fast and furious. Congrats!
it means that someone has found it. in fact, it tells you on the right side of the list of benchmarks (if you do a 'nearest benchmarks' search from a cache page) what the last status of a...
yeah, thus my confusion. It's like they halfway put it in place, but not consistently everywhere. and I wonder how they would make it consistent when the feedback people start voting up the issue.
Gauging interest here...
Would there be interest in an event that discussed how to create/solve some of the non-traditional categories of geocaches (puzzle, mystery, multi, earthcache, etc.) and...
hmm, then it's weird. Here, go look at this profile, and click on the geocaches tab.

Which kind of sucks...I liked the old one better than the new one.
hmm, if you look at the pictures, it seems the 1975 one was in a 3 foot tall monument.
Looks like the original zero mile monument was removed and instead you got a plaque of "hey, we re-landscaped...
the problem is, if you look at your total list of geocaches, they are still part of the total. Benchmarks, are still not. so it looks to me that they are counting them as finds still.
Again, why haven't the parks been approached (as time would permit by members speaking on authority from the board) about assisting with geocaching, and getting the park rangers to have access to...
