If you use the Diff/Terrain wizard will your ratings be OK?
There sure has been a lot of caches coming up around Clarksville in the past couple of weeks. Is it just a coincidence or is there event in the planning or something else. Not that I'm complaining....
Is it street legal or do you have to trailer it to the woods?
Can someone explain the use of Bookmarking in GC.com?
Also, how does this work with Google Earth? I've played with
Google Earth for awhile and I just loaded the upgrade but I don't
know how to...
I'm just curious how many people are participating in any other GPS related games, ie Navicache, TerraCache, or one of the games like MinuteWars or dashing?
If so, what are your opinions?
If this...
Thanks to all for checking on this.

Thanks Lady-E. I thought there was a thread awhile back but I couldn't find it. Let me know if you hear anything.

Does anyone know of a policy restricting placing a GC on AGFC-WMA's?
I have seen the GC's that the AGFC has placed on their wesite.
But I didn't see anything about the public putting out caches in...
My vote also goes to a Sancho log or logs I should say. He made several attempts to find Blue Hole and in one of the logs he describes the damage that occured to his jeep on one of those excursions....
I've been noticing some odd logs lately in a few caches. The logs are comment type and ususally say "Logging Coin" or "Logging Miles" .
Check out :"Almost a piece of the Rock(GCP8NB), Molten...
Finally! I just broke the 100 cache mark. I've been a geocache member since 6/2001 and I finally found my 100th cache.
I've seen stats on people that have been members for less that a year that...
Sorry it took awhile to post to your thread but I didn't catch it in time.
Just an idea but you might want to contact some your local Boy Scout and Cub Scout units in your area before your next...
I just signed up for the instant notify. I would like the cache type have an "All Caches" option but since it didn't I went with the Traditional.
Thanks for the heads-up on this feature.
I have been a member of GC.com June 2001. I know it said before 2001 on the poll but the next category was 2002.
My first find was Dec 2001. "Not The Elbow" by Solohiker.
(Edited to add) Oh and if...
I saw that description on the locationless site and took a look at some of the pics. I never knew they were disguising cell towers as trees.
Thanks for the link. That sure makes it easier to find something to look for.
I'm trying to understand how the "Locationless/Reverse Caching" works.
It looks like a L/R cache is created defining what type of object needs to be identified then the cachers find an example of...
I should have tried this first before I posted the last message but after I uploaded from EasyGPS to my Magellan I then downloaded from my Magellan to Mapsend TOPO. I was also able to convert the...
I used CacheMate and put the query into the PDA and I used EasyGPS to download the gpx file to my Magellan. Is there anyway to create a WPT file for use with Magellan Mapsend TOPO?
Well I went ahead and took the plunge. I've been a Basic Member since June 2001 and just upgraded to a Premium Membership. I thought it was about time I got on board. I'll try the paperless thing...
When the caches have been sent to the PDA do they include all the logs?
There have been more than a few times when referring to a someones log has helped in the find.
Thanks.
I used to get Swiss Army knives at the dollar store and use them for my item. They seemed to be pretty good, they never stayed in the cache very long. I wasn't aware that they had changed to list...
I logged a find last week that I actually found but there was no writing instrument in the micro and I didn't take one out with me. This is the first time I've not signed a log book but I still...
Count me in also.
I'm not a real big fan of the way the State Parks department handled the Geocaching situation and I would rather just have the GF say it's OK to set Geocaches on the public land...
