FYI for Event Planners

I would like to post a quick FYI for all the event planners out there. There are around 11,000 National Guard members in Arkansas and I know many of them that are Geocachers. It seems we miss many of the fun events, because we are doing our monthly drill. I know you can't plan all events around others schedules, but if you could keep us in mind when planning, we would love to have the opportunity to attend more of these events.

Typically, drill weekend is the first weekend of every month, unless it lands on or close to a holiday. Then it is usually the second weekend. Thanks and hope to see you on the caching trail.

I'm not in the Guard, but I love this suggestion. I'm a disabled vet and remember missing many things due to drills and exercises.
