Due to Board Member's obligations regarding work and family commitments, we voted to hold a "Virtual Board Meeting" this

Goal 1: Events - Each non-executive board member will host one Meet and Greet by 3/31/2018.

Goal 2 – Fund Raising – Implement fund raising initiatives to raise $600.00 by 3/31/2018.

Sales: Goal of $600 in sales for this year was met and surpassed.
$754.50 sold to date this year.

Received $50 donation for other side of Clarksville Community Center building.
Received $70 in pathtag cash for Pathtag Fund Raising by The Geocoin Store.
Events Committee Report

Committee Chair: Sue & Ken Hayes
Planning is coming along on the 2018 Annual Event. Both sides of Community Center in Clarksville have been reserved due to a generous donation by one of our members.
Cache pages should be published in next few weeks.
We have three caterers we are considering using, but it is too early to obtain prices.
Camping is available at fairgrounds across from center or camper’s own choice. Contact Sandy Fryar for details.

OLD BUSINESS:
1. Meet & Greets hosted by the 4 non-executive board members. We are behind on this goal. Listed below are the areas of the state and quarter tentatively set for each event. Board members are encouraged to start scheduling these events ASAP.
Jackie…Northeast Arkansas during the first quarter of 2018
EuGene…Southeast Arkansas in Fordyce this summer
Phoebe…Southwest Arkansas during Fall, 2017
Maribeth…Northwest Arkansas before end of September, 2017
2. Strategic Planning Meeting for ArkGeo - Susan will post that we are seeking to fill some positions on committees before we try to move forward with any new plans.
3. We still need an event committee chair for 2019.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Susan will change the passwords on the accounts and send updated password list to board members.
2. Board meetings for 2018:
January 12th – Russellville, location to be determined
April 27th – Clarksville, location to be determined
July 13th - Conway, UCA campus
October 12th – Conway, UCA campus
3. Sharon has agreed to stay on another year as Treasurer. This means there will be 3 openings on the board in 2018.
The next Arkansas Geocachers Association Board meeting is to be held on January 12th in Russellville, AR, location to be determined.
