Treasure: A Feature Length Film About Geocaching!
Hey Fellow Geocachers, I stumbled across this project after it popped up in my NewsFeed from Arkfiremedic liking the page with the tagline:
Treasure: Finally... A feature film that captures the spirit of Geocaching.
Summary:
Treasure is about Erica. Her mother passed away recently and her dad Ethan and her are in a rut. He's a workaholic and she's aimless in life.
One night, she gets herself into some trouble and is forced to do community service at a soup kitchen. It's at the soup kitchen that she
starts to reconnect with others, meeting Ryan who takes her Geocaching. She finds more than caches out there in those little boxes!
Basically, Chris Williamson is a Film MFA student at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, trying to raise $$$ to fund his Geocaching movie.
As fundraising incentives he has Travel Fleas, Pathtags & Geocoins available on Indiegogo to help get Geocachers onboard with getting the film off the ground.
