Groundspeak is Down
For all those who have not heard, a fire at the Fisher Plaza in Seattle has shut Groundspeak down. According to Jeremy Irish, the servers are fine, but there is no power in the Plaza. Just before 2:00 pm our time, huge generators arrived at the complex, but it is unknown how long it will take to get them installed. They are hoping for this evening.
I will post more as I receive news.

Thanks for the update. I was wondering what was going on.

Power is down? Sounds like they need a Woodwalker out there...:)

According to Jeremy, temporary repairs are on schedule to be completed by late this evening. I am assuming that that is Pacific Time, so it will probably be late tonight before we see service here in Arkansas.

Thanks, I was wondering why a PQ I sent in hadn't come!

Geez, Pat, where do you get your information? :D I just spoke with Chuck Walla and he hadn't heard about this  , only knew the website wasn't functioning for some reason.

Once you get 5000 finds groundspeak calls you personally to let you know whats going on! ;-)
-
Are you kidding? Haven't you heard? Groundspeak doesn't do anything without getting approval from Pat... :D

We apreciate the update. Had been trying for a couple of hours to get on and thought the system was just overloaded.

Latest update-According to Jeremy, generator No. 1 will start at 10:45 pm. Generator No. 2 will start 30 minutes later. Again, that is Pacific time.
