Lake Ouachita Stat Park needs some help.

Susan Adkins at LOSP contacted me about helping with a Geocaching workshop on February 22 from 9 am to noon. She needs some geocachers to help the park staff introduce geocaching to people who haven't been geocaching before. If anyone can help please call Susan Adkins at the state park office. 501-767-9366. I may be there but it depends on some other commitments I may have that same weekend.

This sounds like a great opportunity for the Community Relations Committee. I will call her tomorrow and if no one has already committed to helping her, I will get the ball rolling for the committee to take this on.

I talked to Susan today and the Board has approved the Community Relations Committee's participation.

Thanks for stepping up and getting some help for her. I'm going to be at some scout leader training that weekend so I won't be able to help after all.
