Original Can of Beans (OCB) Event In Fort Worth Tx
Is anyone going to try to be at this event? This is the 1st trade item from the ORIGINAL CACHE. A piece of Geocaching History.
Aug 14th at 5 PM at Cousin's BBQ Ft Worth Tx.
I am going to try to go. If anyone wants to go, I'd be willing to cache-pool to the event to help save gas & money. I'd probably leave Little Rock in the morning to give me time to cache on the way. It's about 6 hours to Dallas and the event doesn't start until 5 PM. That should give us plenty of time to grab a few caches on the way.

Here's the link to a couple DivX videos of the 1st Stash being created, and the OCB being found at the site of the 1st Stash.

I just realized something.
If I make it to the CITO, MEET & Greet in Ok on the 7th, then goto the OCB Event in Tx on the 14th, Then be at the Event in Burns Park on the 21st, I'm going to have been to 4 events in 3 States over a 14 day time frame. Holy Smokes that's a lot of driving!
***UPDATE*** Event Time has Changed!!!***UPDATE***
:!: This is an email I received from Jeff of Team360 (The finder/keeper/guardian of the OCB). NOTE TIME CHANGE!!! :!:

I see you are planning on attending the "Original Can of Beans" event
in Ft. Worth on Aug 14. Just wanted to let you know the time has been
changed and it is now a lunchtime event, from 11 am-2 pm...I hope
this will not cause any problems, and that you can still make it, I look
forward to meeting the Texas Geocachers!

Also, my plans for this event have changed (Not because of the time change). I'll still be going, but I'll be heading to Tx earlier in the week to visit family (& cache some). I'll have to meet eveyone at the event.
