To keep Geocaching alive & well, there is always a need to get new blood into the game. And since Geocaching has always been primarily a word-of-mouth hobby, who will make a New Years resolution to convert at least one muggle into a new cacher in 2013? :D
I will make my pledge to try and convert at least one muggle. Who knows, it may even be my wife, but I seriously doubt that will ever happen!!:rolleyes:
All my family and friends are either already Caching, or tired of me telling them about it!!! :D
I just moved to Arkansas and began my new job at the Caterpillar plant in North Little Rock. As I get to know people the conversation of how we spend our free times arises. I always mention Geocaching. About two weeks ago a co-worker took the bait. He purchased the groundspeak iphone app and has found at least 20 caches to date. He is from the Jasksonville area. He cusses me (says curse you chuck) every morning now because he doesn't want to be at work. We have a small run planned for Nov 16th.
