| Razorback Cache in Beavercreek, OH |
|
djcreekcachers writes "The purpose of this submission is to announce the publishing of a new cache named "Razorbacks, Go Hogs! & Woo Pig Sooie! (GC299HD), in Beavercreek, OH.
We are Arkansas Natives from Hot Springs and have lived in Beavercreek, OH for 13 years. Because of the diverse military community in our area which includes a number of people from the State of Arkansas, we thought it would be fitting to have a cache dedicated to all the Razorback fans in the area.
If any of you are ever in the Dayton/Beavercreek area, make a point to search for this cache.

rangergirl writes "Hot Springs National Park is sponsoring a big event on April 17 from 10-3 downtown. One part is called "Into the Woods" and will introduce people to using a compass and GPS. We'd really like to find some volunteers to help with this. Any club members who might be able to volunteer some time for this, please contact me."

| Fired Up for Geocaching-L.A. Event |
|
pshelto writes "A few cachers down in Lower Arkansas are putting together an event to bring people from near and far together to discuss geocaching in Arkansas and, more specifically, Lower Arkansas. Check out GC1RJG7 for more details and let us know if you're planning to attend.
Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be provided and everyone is asked to bring whatever else they might want. Please plan on attending, as this is one of the first events here in L.A. in some time and there are plenty of caches in the area to be found.
