I suppose I hit my first milestone today. I started caching on 10/14/2011 and have gotten at least one cache a day ever since. I am averaging 4.625 caches a day, and currently at 111 finds. Thanks to drmo913 and smilin4god for getting my wife and I into this! It is a great hobby, and really gets me out of the house!

March 17, 2010, I began Geocaching with my wife and son. November 5th, 2011, my wife and I found our 50th cache!!! Not much of a milestone to most, but I'm glad to get there! Now on to 100!!

Well, congratulations Arkansas geocachers! Arkansas now has 12,000 geocaches. You've come a long way baby!!!....from 1 in 2000 to 1739 2012 active caches as of right this minute. Way to go and keep em coming. In case anyone is interested, when mbl started keeping stats on December 31, 2005, there were only 1275 active caches in the State of Arkansas.

Now I just got to try and find all of them! There really isn't enough time in the day. I think we should petition the government to give us 30 hours in a day instead of just 24. Hello to the Ark Geo world, It time for a moment of reflection and a look forward. Just 4 short months ago I made my 500th find. Now tonight I sit here thinking about tomorrow and the achievement of another milestone my 1000th find. Unless a freekish event prevents me from finding 4 caches that is. All the finds, dnf, hides and other such things are flashing by in my mind. I remember the first cache I looked for was a micro close to the house and how after what seemed an extensive search it was not to be found. Well this made me even more determined to find it. We should share these milestones with others you never know whom might just get the lift they needed from your story.

YES YES YES I HAVE DONE IT 1000 Finds. Called fab5 and asked if he wanted to go. Drove by and picked him up and we head up to the gz. I stopped and grabbed the needed 3 cache to reach 999 and we drove on to number 1000. We arrived at the GZ I parked, we got out and I circled the GZ, fab5 was smiling as I searched for his cache. After making a 360 of the gz I stopped and zeroed in on the cache. I grabbed it and as they say the rest is history.168169
