Congratulations http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd75/woodwalker9/wolf.gif Howlingmoon on your first finds. No matter how many finds any one of us have, we were all once right where you are now. There are a lot of great hides in the Springdale area and I'm sure it won't be long before you are racking up the big numbers. Best of luck to you and we'll be watching for those numbers to grow.

07-02-2008, 05:02 PM
I was just thnking as I was reading this thread, that at one point at the Burns Park event, I was in a group that included Woodwalker, Hick, 4-Wheeling1, and Majii. That's nearly TEN THOUSAND FINDS between the four of them! WOW! Way to go guys! :D

07-02-2008, 09:20 PM
:D Way to go AR-HICK, Maji, Woodwalker, and ORR on your milestones you have all been a great encouragement for me as well as friends. In the words of WW9 WAY TO GO GUY!!!!!!!!!! 8)

07-02-2008, 10:48 PM
WOW YA'LL !!! I sure do have some CACHIN' UP to do!

Congratulations to all you gentlemen!

sounds like a challenge to me!

Come and get us! :D

07-04-2008, 01:17 PM
Find #10 for me today was my first FTF! 8O

07-05-2008, 08:57 PM
Congrats Howlingmoon those FTF's are hard to come by. You keep up the good work and you will be looking at 100 very soon. Don't forget down the road to give back to the sport we all like to find but hiding is a very rewarding part of the sport as well. Reading others logs and reactions to your hide is great as well as finding a 5/5.
Keep going

07-06-2008, 05:54 PM
Hey y'all! Flannelman hit 500! That's 5 :D :D big ones! This is no easy feat for a guy who has been a full time student and full time employee and full time dad, since he started caching! I just wanted to say WAY TO GO!!! :D :D :D :D :D

07-06-2008, 06:15 PM
Awesome accomplishment! Congrat's!!!

To B62, Everywhere I've read says to find 100 before you do your first hide. I have a lot of ideas for containers but, no ideas for locations of where to place my caches. lol I'm sure I'll get around to doing hides eventually. For now, I'm having fun finding. :)

07-06-2008, 07:18 PM
Congrats on your 500th find Will. I hope you enjoy the next 500 just as much!!

09-06-2008, 02:15 PM
Not really a normal milestone but, a big deal for me. I decided at 730am yesterday that I was going to Fort Smith to do some caching. I was on the road by 9am. I set a goal to find 30 caches. I did not find #30 'til 430am, and headed back home. I had to stop and get a little sleep, so I didn't walk back in the door of my house 'til 7am tis morn'. I was awake for about 30 hours, and traveled over 200 miles yesterday.

09-07-2008, 11:14 AM
I finally hit 200 yesterday with the help of cfd25 who happened to drive by just at the right time. Thanks for the Two Oh Oh.

Now that's a long day! Did you find any of the caches located in Fort Chaffee?

09-07-2008, 11:26 AM
Congratulations Blueseybreeze on your 200th find. That is a great milestone for the short time you have been geocaching.
It took me a lot longer than 7 months for my 200th find.

And Howlingmoon, that personal best day of 30 caches is a milestone that you can be proud of. I've never done more than about 15 in one day.
Congratulations on the accomplishment . Now get some rest.

09-07-2008, 05:02 PM
Congrat's, Bluesy!

Unfortunately, I don' think I ever got that way, OE. I was so lost in FS. The only time I've ever gone down there was to go straight to Crazy Earl's and the mall, then home. LOL I will go back again eventually, when I have the gas money to spare, and my body recovers. I am SO sore! lol Maybe next time I'll try for 50. :P And maybe I'll get a motel room or something so I can spend more than one day there. :) Thank you for the congrat's.

09-15-2008, 09:01 AM
Congratulations to QUILTINGRANNY for her 300 cache find milestone.

She wont let me rest when there is a new cache in our vicinity to find.

09-15-2008, 09:12 AM

Way to go OEnavigators!!! Man, you did it with three months to spare! After my experience with Ouachita Trail-Rock Row, this weekend (still to be logged), I know what kind of caches the Navigators go for. Five hundred of these is an accomplishment! :D :D :D
Also congrats to Howlingmoon! Way to go Moonie! :D :D :D

09-23-2008, 07:59 PM
First of all, congratulations again Howlingmoon!!! That's a lot of caches in such a short time.

Thanks for the congratulations. It was REALLY hard to get to 500. I can take a break now since we're ahead.

We really enjoyed your log on our Brushy Creek cache Bruce. I can't wait to read the one for Rock Row. It wasn't that bad was it.

Searcy M&G will be my 600. Cant wait, so excited! Unless WW9 post more caches tomorrow and I manage to snag a FTF. Cant turn down one of those.

09-27-2008, 04:45 PM
Congrats ShadowCachers on officially hitting #600 today!!

09-27-2008, 04:52 PM

Congratulations GESSPUR on your great milestone of 100 finds. You have done it more quickly than I did.

It was nice meeting you and your family at the Supper at Ryans and at the Event.

Your enthusiasm for Geocaching is very refreshing and makes me want to get out and add to my total and to hide more for others enjoyment.

And congratulations to CPDENTON and SHAWDOWCACHERS on their big milestones. Someday I hope to reach 600 or maybe even 400. Not there yet.

A little http://gi63.photobucket.com/groups/h130/8TTCIZFXSD/bird.gif told us that CacheMates hit the big 2000 major milestone this weekend in Searcy town. Congrats, guys! Way to go!

09-29-2008, 05:17 PM
Another little bird told us that RKL/MBL hit the 6400 mark in Seacy.

Congratulations on that tremendous number.

I can't even imagine finding that many.

09-30-2008, 05:48 AM
WOOHOO!!! Congrats to my friends Jerry and Bonnie, for hitting 2000!!! I have met no two people who are any more deserving of crashing through a HUGE milestone. I am glad to say that I have been around for at least a few of those. Way to go guys! How soon for another thousand? :D :D :D

09-30-2008, 05:51 AM
6400 for rklmbl!!! I can't even fathom that! Do you guys find these in your sleep?! However y'all find them, it is great to see to see you FINDING them again!! :D :D :D

09-30-2008, 10:45 AM
Way to go RKLMBL on your 6400th find. You are truly the King and Queen of Geocaching in Arkansas. Congrats and thanks for all your dedication to the sport. Ken and Sue (Nukeworker and Racquetball Girl)

I actually have two milestones. #300 and my highest find in one day ~ 44 on the 19th.

I took a caching trip to Tulsa from 130am Friday 'til 230am Monday. I set a goal for myself to find at least 89 caches during the trip, which would give me 300 total finds. I accomplished my goal just seconds before midnight on the 19th. 300 finds in just over three and half months. And #300 was quite fitting. It was in a Wal-Mart parking lot on the six year "anniversary" of my leaving (stop working at) the Springdale Wal-Mart.

I have posted a commentary of my trip over at NWAC if anyone wants to read it. I'm still working on logging all my finds. lol

10-26-2008, 01:37 PM
Congratulations to MathSeeker for reaching 400 finds and Majii for achieving 2500 finds while caching in Conway this weekend!

Great Job Guys!

10-26-2008, 03:52 PM
Congrats to Majii, Mathseeker, BSA 534, searcykid and anyone else who accomplished great milestones this weekend. Way to go!!!!!!!!!

10-26-2008, 09:22 PM
Not a find milestone cache , but a hide milestone. I currently have 92 hides and today I listed #'s 93-99 and I also listed #100(thou I'm still working on the text for it, I'll explain later once it's listed) which is a puzzle.

10-27-2008, 06:52 AM
If I miss anyone I am sorry, this is a long list.

Majii congradulations on 2500 FINDS glad to see you back out caching. I was begining to think you had broken something 8O

BSA534 hits the Big 1K. Glad that you did it at our event. That makes to milestones for Conway county events, your 100 and 1000th and just a year apart.

Paris1time broke the 400 :) over the dnekeew.

Searcykid was just barely able to find his 400th the Conway Co. Event, it is good he got a early start.

Mathseeker a big congradulations on 400 milestone.

10-27-2008, 09:24 AM
We had planned to get our 1500th find at the Conway County Event this past Saturday... loss of daylight and a flat tire stopped us just short of our goal. Had to go back out on Sunday to hit that magical number. So we changed it to a weekend milestone!!! Still trying to get them all logged, there are 62 logs to write from the two days of hunting. Nukeworker and Racquetball Girl

10-27-2008, 12:32 PM

Congratulations to BSA and SearcyKid who hit milestones over the weekend and included our event in their progress.

On Your 500th FIND!!!!

Great Job Guys!

11-02-2008, 06:53 PM
Congrats everybody on your latest milestones. I found one cache yesterday and I feel thats a hudge milestone for me after back surgery. Felt good to find one! I sure miss caching, but soon i will be back out on the trail.

11-02-2008, 07:13 PM
Shadowcashers, Glad you made it out for a cache yesterday! We will be praying for that back to heal up quick. Remember, to find the next 600 or so caches, you have to find the next one first.

Congrats to all the other people on their milestones as well! :D

11-02-2008, 07:54 PM
Congrats to everyone that has hit a milestone recently. The event at Conway County was a great opportunity to bag several great caches. I can't even fathom some of the numbers that are achieved in a single or two-day period. It is totally amazing. Again, congrats to SearcyKid, CPDenton, Paris1Time, Majii, HowlingMoon, MathSeeker, BSA534, and Nukerworker for achieving milestone numbers and to ShadowCacher for getting back out there after back surgery. The best to all of you.

Well, I hit 300 the day after Thanksgiving. My sister and niece were out shopping and they couldn't understand why I wouldn't go with them. I just told them "I'd rather be geocaching". I know I wasn't the only one, I saw a few other cachers I knew on those logs. What a great day!

12-01-2008, 06:03 AM

Thanks everybody. #1000 was a lot of fun. We got it on a trip to Wichita Falls, Texas while caching with the guys that first started me caching. We found 173 caches on the trip which included every cache in the city limits of Wichita Falls, that we could find. There were about 7 caches we think weren't there anymore or the hiding places weren't accessible. We even got a FTF while down there! That was a lot of fun too.

Great job to Frank for his 2900th cache too!

03-03-2009, 04:28 PM

Thank you everyone for your congratulations. We found our 2000th cache over the weekend when a last minute opportunity presented itself and we made a trip to NE Texas and NW Louisiana. Had a great trip seeing beautiful country, some wildlife, and plenty of blooming wisteria vines and dogwood trees. Added 2 new states to our US map. Surpassed our previous one day high of 74 finds with an awesome 120 caches. Our total for the weekend was 270 smilies which is making us Smile :D . Didn't personnally meet any of the wonderful, dedicated cachers in that area, but have corresponded with them through email. They have some great cache loops and trails that are well maintained and creative. They made our first caching trip to TX an unforgetable, great trip. :) We hope to get back there again real soon. You will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle for this trip! :!:

Thanks for the posting QC. We will be writing logs for several days, but it's a great way to relive the experience! Hope to see you at the next event, Nukeworker and Racquetball Girl

Wow! Congrats to Gingerose for breaking into the 4 digits. Whoa, these milestones are happening faster than I can type (umm...that's not really saying too much, but you know what I mean). You are going through those numbers really fast. Congrats, and keep it up!

Good Goobledy Goo!!! I just remembered reading a log on one of my caches (GCCC-Peak), from New Year's Eve last year, that I swore said something that didn't seem possible. Upon further inspection, I just realized the truth. Likestocanoe has found 1000 of their 2000 caches since January 1st!!! WOW! Double way to go guys!

04-01-2009, 12:25 PM

I noticed the other day that http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd75/woodwalker9/WW-1.gif has been to over 50 geocaching events!

Anyone who knows him knows that he is a great ambassador for Arkansas and geocaching.

Way to go http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd75/woodwalker9/WW-1.gif

Two of the many great people I have met in this new "sport" include Woodwalker and AR-HICK and I am proud to know them both. Congratulations to the both of ya'll!!! :D

04-13-2009, 11:03 AM
Congrats to both Woodwalker and Ar-Hick. :) They have been so helpful to us both as we have learned the sport of geocaching. Thank you and keeping on caching!

04-13-2009, 11:24 AM
A big Yee-Haw! to Ar-Hick for hitting that #3000. I bet there were a few fox-owned hen houses in there!!?? :D

A Woo-Hoo to WoodWalker for attending over 50 events. I always knew that the second best thing to geocaching was TALKING about geocaching. There isn't any better place to do that than at an event. Hope to see you both at the Clarksville event on the 18th.

04-13-2009, 12:23 PM
Way to go Mike and Pat. You both are an asset to the game and an inspiration to us all.

04-13-2009, 04:39 PM
Way to go Mike, on 3000 finds! That is a lot of log typing! You sure picked a great cache for the big find, and you couldn't have had a better story teller and guide with you. I hope to see some photos soon.
Pat, fifty events is a really great milestone! That should just about cover every Cracker Barrel in the state! I think Woodwalker has been at every event that I have ever been to, including my first one, two years ago!
You guys are both great friends, and assets to our game! GOOD JOB!!! :D :D :D

04-14-2009, 09:08 PM

While not a *FIND* milestone, I did just get my 150th *HIDE* approved.
It's a d5/t2 cache for all of the local FTF hounds to fight over.

05-31-2009, 05:14 PM

06-01-2009, 01:53 PM
A big thumbs up to everyone for reaching their milestones, and remember Ashallond, you have to get that 100 before you can get the 3,000. I've been at it for just short of 2 years and just not got to 900.

Cache on everyone.

06-01-2009, 02:36 PM
Oh My Goodness...8000!!??!... Is truly amazing!! Congrats rklmbl! Is there a 10 Thousand Club?

06-01-2009, 07:43 PM
Congrats rklmbl on reaching 8000 I can't even dream of that... :D

06-01-2009, 07:51 PM
Congratulations to Old River Runner on his 3000th cache find. Old River Runner was one of the first Geocachers we met when we first started Geocaching. He is an Arkansas Pioneer Geocacher.

06-01-2009, 08:01 PM
Thanks to everyone for the kind words and recognition of my 3000th find. I got real close to it a while back and then it seemed to take forever to close the deal. But back in early April, I had set my sights on Eagle Nest / Island Adventure (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=7f7adfc8-e025-4e8f-90d9-33052719de63) as THE cache for this milestone. It was definitely an enjoyable find and well worthy of the milestone honor. -- ORR

06-02-2009, 06:09 AM
I have been away from our site for a while, as family and business have kept me hopping. I do want to say congratulations to ORR for grabbing his 3000th cache, and the machine of rklmbl, for rocketing through the 8000 mark! Wow, my hat is off to you guys, and I can only look longingly ahead to either of those lofty milestones. Thanks to both ORR and rklmbl, for being leaders in our game in Arkansas!

06-02-2009, 09:23 AM
Congratulations Old River Runner and RKLMBL. 3,000 is a lot of caches and 8,000 I don't even begin to think about getting that many. You all are a great asset to this sport. I have enjoyed being a part of it and you are part of the reason. Hope to see you in Hot Springs this weekend. Maybe I can get close to 1,000 by then.
:D :D :D :D :D :D CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D :D

06-11-2009, 07:59 AM
I know there were a couple of milestones at the ArkGeo event last Saturday, but I can't remember them all. I do remember that ettabrowneyes hit 1000 and I added her name to the Arkansas Can of Fame TB at the event. Congrats ettabrowneyes!

06-11-2009, 10:20 AM
We felt honored to be with CFD29 when they reached and surpased 2600 this weekend.

06-11-2009, 10:34 AM

06-14-2009, 07:26 PM

I have been caching for 6 1/2 months and have just hit 900. I would like to hit 1000 before the summer is out. This is a wonderful hobby. I have met some wonderful people. :D

Thank you for the kind words. We have had a blast as a family caching the last 10 months. We have made lifelong memories and have visited parts of the state we would have never seen without this great sport. What I value more than all of the milestones and cache finds is the people we have met along the way. You guys and gals of this great organization have gone out of your way to make us feel welcomed and always embraced us with open arms. What I like most about this sport is we didn't have to pass any milestone or find or hide so many caches or pass any probationary period before you guys welcomed us in. For that we are truly grateful. Many thanks to all the people who have had a part in hosting the many events we have attended as we have had a blast at each and every one of them and look forward to the next. You guys and gals are great, thanks again.

arkfiremedic and 2ter :D

07-15-2009, 05:46 PM
WOW! Congrats on the 1000 cache milestone! ! ! You guys have really been busy searching, finding, and logging those caches. Hope you had as much fun with your first 1000 as we did with ours..... {:o) We are betting that you are well on your way to 1500 by now.

07-15-2009, 06:34 PM
BRAVO to Arkfiremedic on the BIG 1K

I still and not sure about your mental sanity, but I really do like you anyhow. You do bring more to this game than just finding caches.
I am glad to have a friend in L.A.
