We went to Northeast Arkansas this past week to help work on historic Broom Cemetery. Got all the way to Newport before we got the email that the rains had damaged the way into the Cemetery beyond safety. Instead we cached in Walnut Ridge and Pocahontas and north and east and west of those towns, including a foray into southern Missouri to pick up a couple of virtual caches and a historic cache. Had a fantastic time. Visited with two great cache owners, Team Pink and Sean Adair, and saw so many amazing historic sites. Team Pink (Mike and Donna) drove to Pocahontas to have dinner with us Friday night. mbl even got 13 old geocaches off her list and is happy as a clam. We had been to this area in April 2007 with CacheMates and we thought we did most of the caches that were there then. This time picked up 90 caches and even left a DNF or two for seed. Just another example of how geocaching has grown in Arkansas and how great geocachers are.

I had a great time caching in NE Arkansas back in January of 2010. One of my more memorable trips.
