Arkansas cachers placed 512 caches in the month of April 2010...this is by far a new record. We've never even hit 400 before, let alone 512. Our thanks to all those who placed caches and our thanks, especially to our VOLUNTEER reviewer Chuck Walla who gives back to this game by reviewing and approving every one of those caches.

That's great. I can't wait until summer when I might a little more time to go find some of those wonderful caches.

Thank you, Chuck Walla. That takes a lot of time and we appreciate it!

Yep, a bunch for sure.......but, 115 of them came from one cacher who saturated the Delta Heritage Hiking Trail.

I just wish there were more in the Fort Smith area. Makes it hard to get FTF when most are quite a ways away

patience farmnurse, I have to get out of school and dealing with students before I have free time to go caching and placing.....that and finish dealing with the house we bought and get the massive pile of boxes out of my garage...one of which holds all of my caching containers. :)

Wow, Justin.... What do you think the problem is? Muggles? After logging caches, I stand corrected. It was only 18 caches DNFd with 71 found with four people searching. Oh well, there is always next time.

Justin, I usualy have around a ten percent DNF rate on days when I have found over a hundred. As those numbers go higher, 150-200, that number holds even more close to true.
I realize that you figure there is over twice that, but my point is that it is not unreasonable to expect a larger number of DNF's. BPNJ caches are usualy more dificult to find, as he really goes to the extreme on his camo sometimes. I pretty much expected that these would be more difficult than an average PT, and what you are reporting would support that theory.
Sounds like it will need to be more than a one day attack on these.

Someday I will have to make a return trip to the area. It will probably be a little while cause peddling 24 miles wore me out!

Chuck approved 512 in just that one month period?! Amazing dedication!!

Which got me thinking... So many people are into tracking various statistics within Geocaching, one just occured to me that I'd be interested in knowing:

How many TOTAL "approves" has Chuck Walla had??? I feel pretty confident that it'd be even higher than rklmbl's total number of finds!
