Its real power is as a shortcut to looking up a Caches, Trackables or Waymarks:

At this time, it seems that it only works for the public Trackable TB* name, not the tracking code. May have changed??
It also does not currently work with Benchmarks.
Looks like you can log a cache with a text message as well. http://coord.info/textmark.aspx
