When you can't sleep at night, because you are thinking about a new container
Or you wake up two hours early for a early(before 5) am cache hunt.

It has kept me from going nuts, but you gotta be crazy to do it.
Maybe it just makes you crazy :?

You stop using household containers to make caches and start using cache containers for household items.
example: I made a cache out of a peanut butter jar which i now use as a pencil holder.

Every time you drive past a cemetery, no matter where you are, you think, "that would be a great place for a cache!"

You pick through the trash looking for possible cache containers.

You drive down streets and roads you've never driven down just to see if there is a good spot for a cache.

You find it hard to sleep through the night before a big caching day.

You start getting up at 4am to read your email to see if any new hides had been posted overnight,
just to find out at 4:30 that another local cacher had gotten up at 2 and beat you to the ftf.

You find the Daisy parkcache a 2.3 mile round trip in 100+ degrees and drag your kids along for company. Loved every gallon of sweat.

You take Geocaching as a technology class for inservice hours (cause you know it'll be a "gimme" class)

You walk in to the geocaching/tech class and the teacher knows you by topkitty98 and not Beth, even when you've taught for the same District since 1983 -

You find yourself going deeper into the woods where the obstacles on the trail only get bigger and your vehicle smaller (also less people around). Found this while searching for a road that would lead us to the cache, luckily some locals came by and helped us out. Lesson learned in January! Ahh that weather would be nice about now though.

You talk your boss into setting up a series as part of a marketing plan just so you can actually get paid for putting out caches. My job sucks!

Oh, and I get to be evil at times, hence the Daisy cache. But it won't be so bad come fall.

BTW, who's going to be FTF on Cossatot? That is the only one that has not been had, except of course for the Grand Finale!

When you wear your Swag!. I recently bought some trinkets and toys at a Thrift Store to put in caches for kids. After further inspection, I decided a beaded bracelet was really quite lovely and kept it for myself. Accessorize with Swag!

When you plan your vacation to go where caches are thick; When we bought a 4WD vechicle for caching; When we fill up the back with caching tools for those just in case moments: a come-along, extra tow rope, CB radio, extra food and water, and blankets. :P
