I joined the site this week and thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Michele and I cache with my 9 year old son Joshua and an occasional tag along. We've hit several caches in the Charleston/ Ozark area and even a few on our trip to California back in June. Josh has mild CP so I have to watch the terrain difficulties on the ones we try. I really kick myself when I forget this little fact. He really enjoyed the ones that AR Stickerdude's sons put out. We plan on heading out again Saturday weather permitting. Any suggestions for ones he'd get a kick out of?

Anyway, great site and much fun for us. Hope to get to know some of you better. :D

West and Dude..... thanks for the help offers. Is it ok to program you into the cell and use you as lifelines? Sometimes it just ain't our day. As for CP, it's Cerebral Palsy. Josh's is mild and he actually did quite well today on some more difficult terrain but I did turn back at the down by the creek cache. Steep areas, rocky areas or major undergrowth all are very slow going for him. I did buy him some hiking boots Friday and they seemed to help.

I have been saving the Ft. Smith caches to do with some friends there. I don't know where we'll head next..... Ft. Smith or Clarksville.

Again, thanks for everything.

Cool, hopefully we'll start warming up to these micros and not need to be rescued! We most generally cache on the weekends anyway because I work until 5:30 or 6.

We met firefreaks and demonic this weekend. Firefreaks drove by while we were at the Cachemas tree and demonic came to our aid after 30 min. of fruitless labor.

Thanks to all for making us feel welcome to the hunt.
